In a new work commissioned by the Minnesota Orchestra, composer Carlos Simon and librettist Marc Bamuthi Joseph embrace the aspiration of racial equity through music-centered community healing. The Friday night performance will be broadcast live on TPT-2 and YourClassical Minnesota Public Radio as well as streamed live on the Minnesota Orchestra website.
