Partnerships
We're part of a thriving arts and community ecosystem in Minnesota. See who we partner with, where you'll find us outside of Orchestra Hall, and inquire about becoming a partner.
Our Partners
Arts and Non-Profit Organizations
Pre-Post Concert Events
Design a pre-concert event with us! We love partnering with fellow arts and non-profit organizations to offer opportunities for our concertgoers to enjoy panel discussions, community artist performances and interactive exhibits before and after our concerts.
Community Visits
Interested in bringing Minnesota Orchestra musicians to your organization? Arts organizations, afterschool programs, community centers, healthcare facilities and other nonprofits located within 25 miles of Orchestra Hall are welcome to request free musician visits aligned with their goals.
Currently, we are unable to take musician visit/partner requests.
Youth and University Orchestras
Each season the Orchestra engages in a Side-by-Side rehearsal with one of our partner youth ensembles. Students from MMEA All-State Orchestra, Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies, Minnesota Youth Symphonies and the University of Minnesota Symphony Orchestra play and interact with their Minnesota Orchestra counterparts. Musicians also coach sectionals for the University of Minnesota School of Music Orchestra and Wind Ensemble.

Young People’s Symphony Concert Association
YPSCA is an independent volunteer organization of the Minnesota Orchestra with a passion for instilling a love of classical music in the minds of young people through partnership and engagement with the Minnesota Orchestra, including an annual concerto competition, volunteer usher opportunities and assistance for schools that otherwise would not be able to bring students to Young People’s concerts.
FRIENDS of the Minnesota Orchestra
FRIENDS of the Minnesota Orchestra is a standalone non-profit organization separate from the Minnesota Orchestra, with a mission to encourage engagement with orchestral music through educational programs for all ages, including the award-winning Kinder Konzert series, as well as a Young Artist Competition and performance opportunities.
In the Community
Common Chords
Common Chords is a Minnesota Orchestra initiative that strives to bring Minnesota communities together through music. A year-long community planning process culminates in a festival week of chamber ensemble and full-Orchestra performances in the host city, educational programming, and other activities that reflect the interests, diversity and heritage of the community.
Pint of Music
Pint of Music brings chamber ensembles of Minnesota Orchestra musicians to local taprooms and distilleries for a free sampling of music.
