Fall Sensory-Friendly Concert

Join us for an engaging and interactive concert experience in a relaxed environment where all audience members are welcome to be who they are while enjoying music with family and friends. This concert takes place in the Target Atrium, where you can see and hear the instruments up close and ask questions in a more intimate setting. Hosted by Lyndie Walker, MT-BC from Toneworks Music Therapy Services, this program features a Minnesota Orchestra musician and talented guest artists from the community.
- The Minnesota Orchestra’s Sensory-Friendly small ensemble concerts are inclusive experiences for all ages, including individuals with autism or sensory sensitivities.
- Musician information and concert program will be added in the weeks leading up to the concert.
- Fidgets, noise-canceling headphones and quiet spaces are available at all Sensory-Friendly Concerts. A pre-visit story and program are also available to help you prepare for the event; scroll down the page for these resources. Stand-alone chairs provide for flexible seating and open space is available for those who wish to sit on the floor or move around the room.

Lyndie Walker, MT-BC, is the Owner and a Board-Certified Music Therapist at Toneworks Music Therapy Services, LLC. She received a double Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance and Music Therapy from the University of Minnesota. Lyndie works as both a music therapist and adaptive lesson teacher with individuals of all ages and abilities in both group and individual settings. She frequently presents on topics such as music therapy and community experiences, building inclusive music environments in public schools, and collaborative experiences with women-owned small businesses.
As an avid supporter of neurodiversity and self-advocates, she hosts Sensory Friendly Atrium Concerts with the Minnesota Orchestra, and directs “Art for All” an inclusive summer art and music camp.
Rebecca Corruccini joined the Minnesota Orchestra’s first violin section in 2008. She served as acting assistant concertmaster from 2014-15, then acting associate principal second for 2015-16. Summers find her in Idaho, where she has been a member of the Sun Valley Music Festival since 2007.
Before assuming her Minnesota post, Corruccini performed two seasons with the Houston Symphony. In addition, she has recorded Emmy award-winning PBS All-Star Orchestra episodes as a charter member of the first violin section. Corruccini has been featured in both chamber music and orchestral performances at festivals across the country, including as assistant concertmaster at the Colorado Music Festival. She has also served as a member of the Grand Teton Music Festival orchestra and the Mainly Mozart Festival, and as faculty at the Brevard Music Center.
Roma Duncan, who joined the Minnesota Orchestra in 2003, performed Vivaldi’s Piccolo Concerto in C major at Sommerfest 2005 and reprised the work in 2007 at subscription concerts conducted by Gilbert Varga. In 2019, she performed the same work in Orchestra concerts with conductor Jane Glover. She has held numerous roles in recent Young People's Concerts, hosting concerts in 2018, performing as a soloist in Kling's The Elephant and the Fly in 2017, and serving as narrator in Kleinsinger’s Tubby the Tuba in 2011. In Sommerfest 2014 she joined Orchestra colleagues for a chamber concert performing Rossini’s Quartet for Flute, Clarinet, Bassoon and Horn.
