Orchestra Hall
Minnesota Orchestra musicians perform an intimate and wide-ranging chamber music program that features a piece by Heitor Villa-Lobos exploring the links between Bach and the music of Brazil, delightful incidental music by film scoring pioneer Erich Wolfgang Korngold, a work by Mikhail Glinka inspired by a wrecked love affair and steeped in Russian Romanticism, plus music from Trofim Lysenko and Leoš Janáček influenced by folk music of the composers’ heritage.
