Lyndie Walker, MT-BC, is the Owner and a Board-Certified Music Therapist at Toneworks Music Therapy Services, LLC. She received a double Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance and Music Therapy from the University of Minnesota. Lyndie works as both a music therapist and adaptive lesson teacher with individuals of all ages and abilities in both group and individual settings. She frequently presents on topics such as music therapy and community experiences, building inclusive music environments in public schools, and collaborative experiences with women-owned small businesses.  

As an avid supporter of neurodiversity and self-advocates, she hosts Sensory Friendly Atrium Concerts with the Minnesota Orchestra, and directs “Art for All” an inclusive summer art and music camp.

Gina Brady, OTR/L, is an occupational therapist and the Sensory Supports and Training Program Manager at Fraser. She has been practicing occupational therapy for over eight years, and during that time has also provided consultation, training, and ongoing partnership to support organizations throughout Minnesota in creating more inclusive experiences for individuals with sensory processing needs across the lifespan. Her partnerships include arts organizations, sports teams, fairs, festivals, other specialized events, dental offices, child care centers, schools and more.

Dan Britt is an actor and voiceover artist based in the Twin Cities. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in theatre performance from Gustavus Adolphus College. He has performed in productions with many companies in the Twin Cities including Lex-Ham Community Theater, Lyric Arts, Lakeshore Players, Wayward Theatre, New Arab American Theater Works, Expressions Community Theater, and Interact Center for Performing and Visual Arts. In 2022, he signed with Crown North Talent in Stockton, California, as a voiceover talent. Away from the stage, he works an educational assistant at Lionsgate Academy in Shoreview, Minnesota, and as a camp counselor with the Autism Society of Minnesota and Northern Starz Performing Arts Company. He enjoys working with his fellow artists and learners on the autism spectrum.

Dayna Nelson is the Education Specialist with the Autism Society of Minnesota. She has a bachelor of arts in psychology with a heavy emphasis of family social sciences from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. She is dedicated to community-based outreach and providing evidence-based practices within the community to celebrate neurodiversity. She has several years of experience working with autistic individuals, individuals with motor and physical disabilities, and individuals with severe mental diagnoses. Additionally, Nelson has extensive experience working in education, museum and homeless shelter programming. In this role, she navigates and strives for a deeper understanding in the development of expansive trainings, implementing social skills, and collaborating with organizations for sensory-friendly and inclusive spaces.

Cellist Esther Seitz was brought up in a musical home and immersed in music from a young age. She fell in love with the cello at the age of 8 and subsequently began her studies of the instrument. She is now proud to be the third generation of professional musicians in her family. Currently based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, she holds a position as a Rosemary and David Good Fellow with the Minnesota Orchestra.

A passionate chamber musician, Seitz is a co-founder of Bowery Trio, which was formed in 2019. As an ethnically and culturally diverse ensemble, Bowery Trio has a mission of focusing on uplifting composers from various backgrounds through performance and education. The Trio has been awarded multiple grants to support their current projects.

As a native of Atlanta, trombone player Lovrick Gary III began his musical studies through the Atlanta Symphony Talent Development Program. As a fellow, he studied with Atlanta Symphony members Nathan Zgonc and Brian Hecht. He obtained a bachelor’s degree from the Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University, where he studied with Dr. Bradley Palmer. While a student at the Schwob School, Gary III was named a finalist in the American Trombone Workshop National Solo Competition in 2017 Division I and 2019 in Division II. He has also performed several concerts with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

Gary III has had opportunities to be a part of multiple recording projects, including one in which he is featured in a quartet on Ash, the latest project of the New York Philharmonic’s associate principal trombone Colin Williams. Additionally, he can be heard on Columbus State University Trombone Ensemble’s recent album Full Tilt. He also enjoys teaching and is currently the Trombone and Bass Trombone Teaching Artist with the Atlanta Music Project.

“Emergence” is the signature band for the 3 Strings companies, 3 Strings, Inc. and 3 Strings, LLC. This group of musicians are in their second season as a progressive, modern ensemble. Each person is well versed on their chosen instruments and with the notation system, some even helped create it. Each musician has a minimum of three years of training in the 3 Strings Methodology and some as many as six. Their serious dedication to Emergence is evident in their signature sound, energy and focus. It is empowering to be seen and heard and particularly important to realize the music they are making is changing the face of music education. Interested in learning more? Ruth LeMay is a pedagogist, entrepreneur, neurological music therapist allied professional, and veteran music educator with over thirty years experience in Minneapolis Public Schools. As an urban PK-12 music educator Ruth has experience in guitar, modern band, songwriting, adapted music, general music, choir, and band. She is a disability advocate focused on inclusion and equal access. Music room doors need to be wide open! Ruth holds a Bachelor of Music in instrumental and vocal music from the University of South Dakota, a MM in Music Education and Choral Conducting from University of MN, Twin Cities Campus and is adjunct faculty at UW River Falls teaching Adapted Music. She is the president and founder of 3 Strings, Inc (3strings.org) a 501(c)3 and 3 Strings, LLC, a trail blazing methodology that transliterates western music notation into shapes, symbols and language from our formative years. 3 Strings works alone and in conjunction with traditional notation. Ruth serves as the Upper Midwest Regional Representative for the national council of guitar education for NAfME. Ruth frequently performs with her 3 Strings band, Emergence, at state conferences, community events, gigs for hire and is a frequent guest speaker across the nation. Ruth was published in Soundboard magazine Fall 2022 “Creating Music for a Neurodiverse Population.” Ruth lives with her wife, Karen, of 27 years, their two college age children and two dogs. Her free time is spent relaxing with friends, preparing various ethnic cuisines planning their next adventure.
