Twin Cities Bronze
The Minnesota Orchestra isn’t the only source of the music that fills Orchestra Hall—it’s a priority for us to invite ensembles from the community to join us in music-making throughout the year. Twin Cities Bronze is a local auditioned handbell ensemble that has performed at the Hall, both onstage and in the lobby, most recently during December holiday concerts. Many people have never seen a handbell ensemble, much less know how the handbell tradition came to be, how they rehearse or what makes this group special.
When you join us at Orchestra Hall for a performance or make a gift, you not only support the Minnesota Orchestra, you support community musicians and collaborations that enrich our city, our state and our community. Check out the video above to learn more about one such ensemble.
PS—have you visited our Digital Concert Hall? This video was originally filmed as part of a livestreamed This Is Minnesota Orchestra concert; when you head over to our Digital Concert Hall you can find free and premium behind-the-scenes content, full performances and exclusive interviews.
