He has also often lectured across the U.S. and abroad on the merits of “Organizing Your Creativity” as a tool for beginning improvisers. He is currently a professor of practice and director of the certificate in music production program at Hamline University, which encourages traditional and non-traditional music makers to gain fluency with modern music technology.

Bailey is a founding member of the Twin Cities-based Jazz Fusion band Mississippi, whose third recording project  is slated for release in early 2023. Firmly fiercely committed to how the power of music in the world unites and heals, he continues to compose, perform throughout the U.S. and internationally while also running his Minnesota-based LoweTone Studios.
