Sensory-Friendly Concert I

in the Target Atrium

Sat Nov 12, 2022

Orchestra Hall

~50 minutes with no intermission

Join us for an engaging and interactive concert which is hosted by Lyndie Walker, MT-BC, from Toneworks Music Therapy Services, and features one or more Minnesota Orchestra musicians, plus talented guest artists from the community.

A Few Things to Know

  1. The Minnesota Orchestra’s Sensory-Friendly small ensemble concerts are inclusive experiences for patrons of all ages, including individuals with autism or sensory sensitivities.
  2. Concerts take place in a relaxed environment where all audience members are welcome to be who they are while enjoying music with family and friends.
  3. Fidgets, noise-canceling headphones and quiet spaces are available at all Sensory-Friendly Concerts. A pre-visit story and program are also available to help you prepare for the event; scroll down the page for these resources. Stand-alone chairs provide for flexible seating and open space is available for those who wish to sit on the floor or move around the room.
