Three Yoga Classes at Orchestra Hall Feature Live Music by Minnesota Orchestra Musicians
Classes to take place Sunday mornings at Orchestra Hall on November 6, February 5 and May 14
Yoga classes are returning to Orchestra Hall with three offerings that transform the venue’s lobby into a yoga studio. Each session features an individual musician or duo from the Minnesota Orchestra who will play musical selections that pair with the movement; classes are taught by local instructors, with the November 6 session led by Holly Bustle of onelove.yoga.
Programs will take place on Sunday, November 6, at 9 a.m.; Sunday, February 5, at 9 a.m.; and Sunday, May 14, at 9 a.m., with ticket prices for each session set at $36. Classes are open to ages 15 and up. Participants are required to bring their own mats, water bottles and any other props to be used in the classes.
The yoga classes are part of the Orchestra’s larger Wellness programming, which includes the Music & Mindfulness series presented in collaboration with the University of Minnesota’s Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing; these meditative events return to Orchestra Hall in March 2023.
