Symphonic Adventures for High Schools

Symphonic Adventures bring the entire Orchestra to metro-area high schools for dynamic, one-hour concerts designed for secondary students. Each program will be hosted by Orchestra violist Sam Bergman, who will introduce students to the music, musicians and key concepts before the symphonic work is performed. About This Concert

Associate Conductor Akiko Fujimoto and host/violist Sam Bergman introduce secondary students to the First Symphony of Florence Price, who became the first African American woman to have her music played by a major symphony orchestra in 1933.

Minnesota Orchestra Symphonic Adventures performances are dynamic, one-hour concerts designed for secondary students.
