Represent the Minnesota Orchestra on your campus! Student Ambassadors are highly motivated, self-sufficient high school, undergraduate or graduate students (any major!) that help spread the word about student discounts on their campus and schools. Help us cultivate the next generation of Minnesota Orchestra listeners!
Students participating in this program can add their Ambassador experience to their resumes and have the opportunity to work directly with Minnesota Orchestra staff and meet musicians.
Student Ambassadors help promote two Campus Night concerts, one in the fall and one in the spring. Chosen by Student Ambassadors, these concerts are eligible for the $12 Student Rush discount and feature special pre- and post-concert activities just for students, including an exclusive meet and greet with Minnesota Orchestra musicians and administrative staff! Campus Night concerts will be announced soon!
Two ways to get involved:
1. BE A STUDENT AMBASSADOR
Collaborate with other Ambassadors to communicate Minnesota Orchestra student discounts by distributing flyers, brainstorming new promotional ideas, spreading the word on social media and volunteering at Campus Night concerts at Orchestra Hall.
2. BE A STUDENT AMBASSADOR LEADER
Work closely with Minnesota Orchestra staff to guide campuses with multiple Student Ambassadors while also accomplishing the responsibilities of a Student Ambassador.
PERKS OF BEING AN AMBASSADOR
- Two tickets to Campus Night
- Student Easy Pass (Student Ambassador Leaders only)
- Minnesota Orchestra merchandise
- Hands-on marketing experience with a world-renowned organization
- Opportunities to further engage in arts marketing
Now recruiting for Spring 2017! All new Ambassadors will be required to attend the Jan 18 retreat at Orchestra Hall as a part of orientation.
