Accessibility Team

During the summer of 2017, community members and Orchestra staff came together to begin planning our first full orchestra Sensory-Friendly concert for July 2018. We are extremely grateful for the Accessibility Team’s invaluable expertise and contributions.

Sensory-Friendly Concerts

The Minnesota Orchestra is committed to increasing access to the symphonic art form by providing full orchestra and small ensemble experiences in an inclusive environment. Our Sensory-Friendly Concerts are designed for patrons of all ages and abilities, including individuals on the autism spectrum and those with sensory sensitivities. Each concert takes place in a relaxed environment where audience members are welcome to be who they are and enjoy beautiful music together with family and friends.

Our small ensemble concerts take place in the Target Atrium at Orchestra Hall; full orchestra concerts are held in the main auditorium.
