Education Week 2024
Why do we make music? That question can be pushed aside all too easily in the midst of weekly rehearsals and concerts. But in April 2024, the Orchestra and Music Director Thomas Søndergård spent a week collaborating with students and educators.
Side-by-Side Rehearsal
We're looking for K-12 music educators who are interested in joining the Minnesota Orchestra for a unique Side-by-Side experience on June 10, 2026. The opportunity: you and your fellow music educators will work with Music Director Thomas Søndergård in a rehearsal at Orchestra Hall, where you'll play alongside Minnesota Orchestra musicians in Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique. Together we'll make music for an audience of your friends, family, students, and school administrators and we'll celebrate you and the important mission of music educators across our state.
