About This Concert

Associate Conductor Akiko Fujimoto and host/violist Sam Bergman introduce secondary students to the Third Symphony of Florence Price, who became the first African American woman to have her music played by a major symphony orchestra in 1933.

Minnesota Orchestra Symphonic Adventures performances are dynamic, one-hour concerts designed for secondary students.
