About This Concert:

The Minnesota Orchestra embarks on a three-city Minnesota Tour, visiting Willmar, Bemidji and Grand Rapids to offer concerts and educational activities.

The Minnesota Orchestra returns for its first performance in Bemidji since 2014, when it collaborated with a Bemidji-area community steering committee to create a week-long Common Chords residency. Led by Associate Conductor Roderick Cox, the ensemble now returns to perform Brahms’ lively Academic Festival Overture, Mozart’s sublime Symphony No. 39 and Tchaikovsky’s powerful Symphony No. 4.

TCHAIKOVSKY
Symphony No. 4 in F minor, Opus 36

In addition to the public evening performance, the Orchestra will also perform a Symphonic Adventures concerts for students on Wednesday morning, May 17. (Open to student groups.)

Tickets: $10 adults, $5 students

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
