New Minnesota Orchestra Yoga Class at Orchestra Hall series features yoga classes with live music
The Minnesota Orchestra begins a new series, Yoga Class at Orchestra Hall: Musical Flow with Minnesota Orchestra Musicians, on Sunday, November 18, at 10 a.m. The series features three all-levels yoga classes in the sunlit lobby of Orchestra Hall, led by an experienced yoga instructor, with music curated and played by Minnesota Orchestra musicians. The November 18 event is led by yoga instructor Michelle Henkel, owner and teacher at The Whispering Cave in Wayzata, while music is performed live by the Minnesota Orchestra’s Principal Harp Kathy Kienzle. Two additional classes are scheduled for Sunday, February 10, and Sunday, March 24. For details about each class, see the complete schedule below.
Entrance to each hour-long Yoga Class at Orchestra Hall is priced at $35 per person and is open to individuals ages 15 and up. Classes can be purchased individually or in a three-class package which includes a bonus voucher redeemable for a future Minnesota Orchestra concert.
