Minnesota Orchestra Performs Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone™ In Concert


Minnesota Orchestra to perform Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone™ on December 9 and 10 at the Minneapolis Convention Center Auditorium

The Orchestra performs the complete score by John Williams while the film is shown on a large screen; Nicholas Buc conducts


In December, the Minnesota Orchestra performs HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER’S STONE™ as part of The Harry Potter Film Concert Series. The concert, which will be led by Australian conductor Nicholas Buc, features the live symphony orchestra performing, to picture, every note from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Audiences will be able to relive the magic of the film in high-definition on a 40-foot screen while hearing the Minnesota Orchestra perform John Williams’ unforgettable score.

The performances are held on Friday, December 9, 2016, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, December 10, 2016, at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., at the Minneapolis Convention Center Auditorium in downtown Minneapolis, with tickets priced from $30 to $90. The Harry Potter Film Concert Series

CineConcerts and Warner Bros. Consumer Products announced The Harry Potter Film Concert Series, a new global concert tour celebrating the Harry Potter films, earlier this year.  The tour, which features Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, kicked off this summer, travelling to destinations across North America and internationally.
