Cirque de la Symphonie Acrobatic Troupe Performs at Orchestra Hall with the Minnesota Orchestra, May 21 and 22

Touring ensemble performs acrobatic stunts and high-flying feats onstage and above the musicians as the Minnesota Orchestra performs; Sarah Hicks conducts

On May 21 and 22 Sarah Hicks conducts the Minnesota Orchestra as they are joined by the performers of Cirque de la Symphonie, a touring group of aerialists, acrobats, contortionists, jugglers and strongmen who have created a program especially for live performance with symphonic orchestras. In these performances at Orchestra Hall, music includes selections from Tchaikovsky and Bizet to John Williams and more, while the members of Cirque de la Symphonie provide visual performances both onstage and flying above the Orchestra and the audience.

The concert will be held at Orchestra Hall in downtown Minneapolis on Saturday, May 21, at 8 p.m., and Sunday, May 22, at 2 p.m., with tickets priced from $25 to $65. More information is available at minnesotaorchestra.org and by phone at 612-371-5656. For further purchasing details, refer to the information section at the conclusion of this press release.
