Assistant Principal Viola & Section Viola Auditions

Section Cello Auditions
- Positions available: 3 positions
- Application deadline: March 28, 2026
- Auditions: April 24–27, 2026
Minnesota Orchestra Fellowship Auditions
Program description: A two-year professional development program for emerging professional musicians from diverse backgrounds early in their careers.
- Instruments: Violin, viola, cello, bass, horn, trombone, bass trombone, tuba
- Application deadline: Monday, March 16, 2026
- Preliminary recording due: Monday, March 16, 2026
- Live final auditions and interviews: Monday, May 4, 2026 (held in Minneapolis)
- Note: Domestic travel (or equivalent) and lodging will be arranged for finalists
- Employment begins: September 2026

Applications received after the due date will not be considered. Employment will begin as soon as the winner’s availability and the Minnesota Orchestra’s schedule allow.
Please note that those who apply earlier receive information earlier, and therefore have more choice of audition dates. For those who send their resume later, some dates may already be filled.
