Thank you for joining us at Symphony Ball 2018! Photo highlights coming soon.

Inspired by the popularity of the Minnesota Orchestra’s Movies & Music series presenting popular movies with the soundtrack performed live, the 2018 Symphony Ball Sounds of the Cinema celebrates the magic of music in the movies.

Join us on the red carpet for a musical extravaganza in which Music Director Osmo Vänskä will conduct a cinematic medley that explores the scores that made some of the most memorable moments in movie history across a range of genres. The Grammy-Award winning Minnesota Orchestra will be joined on stage by indie pop singer/songwriter jeremy messersmith for a special performance.

This 62nd annual Ball, which is the Orchestra’s most significant annual fundraising event, is chaired by Lloyd and Karen Kepple, with Honorary Chairs Dr. Stanley and Luella Goldberg.
