Erin Keefe
, violin
Erin Keefe, the Minnesota Orchestra’s
concertmaster since September 2011,
is a highly regarded soloist, chamber
musician and festival artist.
She has been featured in
Minnesota Orchestra performances
of the Beethoven and Mendelssohn
violin concertos and in solos with such
orchestras as the New Mexico Symphony,
New York City Ballet Orchestra, Korean
Symphony Orchestra, Amadeus Chamber
Orchestra, Sendai Philharmonic and
Göttingen Symphony.
Chamber, recitals:
In addition to being
an Artist with the Chamber Music
Society of Lincoln Center, Keefe performs
with the Accordo chamber ensemble
in Minneapolis. She has given recitals
throughout the U.S., Korea and many
European countries, and has collaborated
with leading artists including the Emerson
String Quartet, Roberto and Andés Díaz,
Edgar Meyer and Gary Graffman.

Timothy Lovelace

Timothy Lovelace, head of the
Collaborative Piano program at the
University of Minnesota, has often
performed chamber music concerts
sponsored by the Minnesota Orchestra.
Lovelace has performed on
four continents. He has been featured
at Rio de Janeiro’s Sala Cecília Meireles,
Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall, the
Kennedy Center and Merkin Concert
Hall, as well as on Chicago’s Dame Myra
Hess Memorial Concerts and additional
significant chamber music series. He has
collaborated with such artists as Lisa
Batiashvili, Miriam Fried, Alban Gerhardt,
Nobuko Imai and Dawn Upshaw.
Contemporary works:
A proponent
of new music, he has performed and
recorded the works of many living
composers, and he presented the world
premiere of Osvaldo Golijov’s
Third World
