Misha Santora
, conductor
Mischa Santora, the Minnesota Orchestra’s
associate conductor from 2003 to 2009,
has guest conducted
on five continents,
leading such ensembles
and companies as
the Philadelphia
Orchestra, Los Angeles
Philharmonic, Zurich Tonhalle Orchestra,
Seoul Philharmonic and West Australian
Opera Company. He recently concluded
a 14-year tenure as music director of the
Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra.
Local:
In spring 2015 he will appear on
the Minnesota Orchestra’s subscription
series, conducting an all-American
program featuring Burt Hara, the
Orchestra’s former principal clarinet, as
soloist. This year he also leads concerts
with the Minneapolis Music Company.

Riley Robert Eddins
, Amahl
(boy soprano)
Riley Robert Eddins, now making his
Minnesota Orchestra debut, has performed
in several operas
with the Minnesota
Opera since joining
its Project Opera
program. In summer
2014 he sang the
Shepherd Boy in
Tosca
with Mill City
Opera. His opera debut, in 2013, was in
The Magic Flute
with Opera Omaha.
He also sang with the Metropolitan Boys
Choir for two years.
In addition:
Evans, a sixth grader at
Murray Middle School in St. Paul, plays
cello, tennis and baseball and enjoys
cooking.
Brittany Keefe
, Amahl

Brittany Keefe has danced with many
companies in addition to James Sewell
Ballet, including the
Pacific Northwest
Ballet, Pittsburgh
Ballet Theatre, Ballet
Memphis, Minnesota
Dance Theatre and
American Repertory Ballet.
International:
She performed in a solo
improvisation show in Germany and
Italy and was selected to be an American
ambassador at the International Dance
Festival in Cali, Colombia.
Leadership:
She has served as chair of
the dancer council for Dance/USA.
Karin Wolverton
, Mother
(soprano)
Karin Wolverton has drawn acclaim for
her performances of opera and concert
repertoire throughout
the U.S. She last soloed
with the Minnesota
Orchestra in Nielsen’s
Third Symphony at
both Orchestra Hall
and New York’s Carnegie Hall.
Recent, upcoming:
She created roles in
the world premieres of both
Silent Night
and
Doubt
with the Minnesota Opera.
In the current season she sings with the
Utah Opera, Austin Lyric Opera and Hill
House Chamber Players and appears on
the Joya! Concerts Series.

Eve Schulte

Eve Schulte joined James Sewell Ballet in
2009, after training and being a company
member at Minnesota
Dance Theatre.

and additional works by choreographers

in dance at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp.
Brad Benoit
, King Kaspar
(tenor)
Brad Benoit, who last appeared with
the Minnesota Orchestra as Borso in
Verdi’s
Rigoletto
at
Sommerfest 2012,
sang many roles
with the Minnesota
Opera during three
years in its Resident
Artist Program, including Ruiz in Verdi’s
Il trovatore
. In 2011 he was a featured
soldier in the premiere of Kevin Puts’
Silent Night
, and on opening night he
covered Nicklaus Sprink to rave reviews.

Nic Lincoln

Nic Lincoln, recently named one of 25 to

Dance Magazine
, is an eight-
year member of
James Sewell Ballet.
He takes inspiration
from pop culture and
visual art to voice
his activism through
dance.
Honors:
In 2013 he was nominated for a
Sage Award both for his performances of
Larry Keigwin’s
Glitter Garden
and for his
entire solo show,
Yes!
In 2011 he received
a McKnight Artist Fellowship for Dancers.

Jeffrey Madison’s repertoire ranges
from grand opera and operetta to
musical comedy.
He has sung at many

Minnesota Orchestra,
appearing as Father

, Faninal in Strauss’
Der Rosenkavalier
and Angelotti in
Puccini’s

, among other roles.

He has appeared with

Moorhead Opera and Skylark Opera.
