Christina Baldwin is familiar to
Minnesota Orchestra audiences for
her numerous appearances as Hansel
in Humperdinck’s
Hansel and Gretel
and for her solo role in performing and
recording Stephen Paulus’ Holocaust
To Be Certain of the Dawn
with libretto by Michael Dennis Browne.
A fixture on the local opera and theater
scene, she performs often at the
Guthrie Theater, was a collaborator
with Theatre de la Jeune Lune for
nearly 10 years, and now serves as
artistic associate, music director and
performer with the Moving Company.
She has also performed with companies
from Berkeley to Cambridge, has been
featured on
A Prairie Home Companion
and lent her voice to animated short

premiere of Kevin Puts’ Pulitzer-winning
Silent Night

with Opera Philadelphia and Cincinnati
Opera. He has recently appeared
with the St. Petersburg Opera, Opera
Naples, Shreveport Opera, Gulf Coast
Symphony, Opera Parallèle, Kentucky
Opera and Orlando Philharmonic;
