*On Saturday, June 14, Kevin Puts’ Fourth Symphony is performed twice, as the first work during the 7 p.m. concert
and again at 10 p.m., in a free public event at which it will be the only work performed. Sensing devices and sonic
inputs will gather live data that trigger visuals specific to the music, and the resulting images will be projected on the
stage backdrop.
This multimedia experience is the work of Yael Braha and Bryant Place, whose installation /
ärt fakts/ in motion
will also
be available for the public to “play” in the auditorium before and after the 10 p.m. performance.
These projects are sponsored by the Eyeo Festival as part of Northern Spark, an all-night arts festival on June 14 that is
produced by Northern Lights.mn.
