Chris Botti
has become America’s
largest-selling instrumental artist, with crossover appeal for jazz
and pops audiences alike. His solo and collaborative recordings
have earned great acclaim, including a 2013 Grammy
Award for Best Pop Instrumental Album for his most
recent album,
. He is joined on that
disc by such performers as Andrea Bocelli, Vince
Gill, Herbie Hancock, Mark Knopfler and David
Foster, interpreting music as diverse as Chopin,
Gershwin and R. Kelly.
Botti has collaborated in earlier projects
with a broad range of artists: Sting, Barbra
Streisand, Josh Groban, Yo-Yo Ma, Michael
Bublé, Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell, John Mayer,
Joshua Bell, Frank Sinatra, Aerosmith’s Steven
Tyler and more; he also has an ongoing association with
PBS. On the road for as many as 300 days each year,
he has performed with many of the finest symphonies,
including the Minnesota Orchestra, and at some of the
world’s most prestigious venues, from Carnegie Hall, the
Hollywood Bowl and the White House to the Sydney
