Sarah Hicks
is the principal conductor
of the Minnesota Orchestra’s renamed
Live at Orchestra Hall series—a broad
spectrum of concerts previously offered
on several separate series. During the
2014 season she will collaborate with the
Orchestra in performances with Matthew
Morrison of television’s
Glee
and the
Midtown Men, as well as a concert of
music from Pixar’s popular animated films.
Other highlights of her current season
include return engagements with
the San Francisco Symphony,
Philadelphia Orchestra and
Milwaukee Symphony, as well
as debuts with the Pittsburgh
Symphony, Cincinnati Symphony
and Alabama Symphony, among
other ensembles. In 2011 she
toured with British rock icon
Sting, leading 31 concerts
over two months in venues
throughout Europe. For
