How did you choose your instrument?
I was going to play the horn but the cornet had a more compact case and was just as shiny. I had a long walk to the bus stop so I picked the cornet.

If you chose another occupation, what would it be?
Fixing trumpets is a hobby of mine. I think it would be fun to learn how to make trumpets.

What is your favorite Minnesota Orchestra memory?
We were in Paris on our first tour to Europe. It was my first year in the Orchestra. At the end of the concert the audience started clapping in unison.
