Fantasy Camp

Fantasy Camp 2017: Jul 18-20

Applications due June 1, 2017.

It's a major league musical experience with the Minnesota Orchestra. #mnorchcamp

Major League Baseball and National Football League teams have one, so why shouldn’t we? The Minnesota Orchestra Fantasy Camp provides the opportunity for talented musicians in the community to live the Minnesota Orchestra experience—from backstage to onstage. Started in 2011, this camp is designed to immerse participants in rehearsing, learning and performing side-by-side with Minnesota Orchestra musicians and staff.

Minnesota Orchestra Fantasy Camp is a fun, friendly and non-competitive experience. Adults (18+), who are proficient players of an orchestral instrument, can attend. No audition is necessary. Up to fifty applicants will be selected based upon essay submissions, musical training/background, current involvement in musical activities, and instrumentation needed for Berlioz' Roman Carnival Overture.
