On June 16, 2012, Minnesota Orchestra patrons and supporters will enjoy "Music of the Night" at the 57th Annual Symphony Ball, an evening to celebrate the Orchestra and its commitment to accessible and enriching education activities which reach over 80,000 young people in our community every year. Crash the Ball—an event for young professionals that coincides with Symphony Ball—was introduced three years ago; each year since, the number of guests has increased, attracting more than 300 festive guests last year. The success of both these events is due largely to the generous support of in-kind donors, like you. Thank you!
2011
The 2011 Symphony Ball and Crash the Ball were a tremendous success, attracting over 900 people and raising $1,014,000 to support music education in the Twin Cities and throughout the state.
Over the years, generous support of this annual event has helped raise millions of dollars as an investment in our community's quality of life. From programs at Orchestra Hall and in schools around the region, to nationally and internationally acclaimed performances, the Minnesota Orchestra’s Symphony Ball makes enriching educational activities and great music accessible to audiences of all ages. This year alone, over 80,000 young people will experience the Orchestra through a variety of programs. These programs exist because of your generous support.
