Most of our 2012-13 season performances will be held in the Auditorium, a gem of a hall on Level One of the Minneapolis Convention Center. Located just a few blocks from Orchestra Hall, it offers easy access to the same parking options and skyway already familiar to Orchestra Hall patrons. The Auditorium is comparable to Orchestra Hall in size and has beautiful amenities and warm acoustics. Its theater configuration is dynamic, changeable from one performance to the next, with visually engaging architecture.

Parking

RECOMMENDED PARKING RAMP: 11th & Marquette Municipal Ramp (South Side)
11th Street & Marquette Avenue

For easy skyway access, we recommend this ramp. Many Orchestra Hall patrons are already familiar with this facility as it is connected to Orchestra Hall (and the MCC) by skyway. Pre-paid parking vouchers issued by the Minnesota Orchestra will continue to be valid for this ramp (included with select series packages).

QUICK TIP: Getting to the performance venue from this ramp is easy—just follow the signs! Minnesota Orchestra Audience Services staff will be available to assist you along the way. The Auditorium is located on Level One of the MCC.

DON'T FORGET! For easy access, use the 12th Street entrance and park on the south side of the 11th and Marquette ramp.

Convention Center Parking Ramp (above ground parking)
3rd Avenue South
This ramp is nearest to the Auditorium performance venue; however, the ramp is not skyway accessible and there is no drop-off available at the east entrance to the MCC. To get to the Auditorium, walk across 3rd Avenue South and use the outside entrance to the MCC.

Plaza Municipal Ramp (underground parking)
Corner of 2nd Avenue & 12th Street
This ramp is nearest to the main entrance and drop-off area of the MCC. exit the ramp and cross Grant Street directly to the MCC main entrance. The Auditorium is just a short walk from the entrance—proceed straight ahead as you enter the building. The ramp is skyway accessible; however, please note the skyway route does require additional walk time.

Drop-off Locations

The MCC's main entrance on east Grant Street is available as a convenient drop-off and pick-up location. There is a public seating area near the front drop-off area. We do not recommend dropping off on 3rd Avenue due to a blind corner and fast-moving traffic. Parking spaces for patrons with disabilities are available in the Plaza, Hilton Municipal and 11th and Marquette Municipal parking ramps, which are all connected to the MCC by skyway. There are additional parking spaces for patrons with disabilities at the MCC, but they are not connected by skyway.
