Sarah HicksSarah became the Minnesota Orchestra's assistant conductor in fall 2006, and is the first woman to hold a titled conductor post in the Orchestra's history. Born in Tokyo and raised in Honolulu, she earned degrees in composition from Harvard University and in conducting from the Curtis Institute. |

Mischa SantoraMischa was appointed the Minnesota Orchestra's associate conductor in 2004. Born to Hungarian parents, he moved with his family to Switzerland, where he began violin studies under his father, a member of the Lucerne Symphony. He went on to earn degrees from the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin and the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. |
