Sarah Hicks & Sam Bergman

Join the young patrons of Crescendo Project for an evening of learning and music as part of the Orchestra's Inside The Classics series. Host Sam Bergman and conductor Sarah Hicks will offer musical and biographical insights on one of the 20th century's greatest works: Debussy's "La Mer."

The piece is conceived as a series of three symphonic sketches meant to sonically evoke the sea in its many temperaments. Sam and Sarah's conversation will shed light on the musical devices Debussy used to create this iconic piece, as well as important aspects of the composer's life and times. Following the musical discussion, the Orchestra will give a full performance of the work.

But that's not all! In keeping with the evening's nautical theme, Crescendo Project guests will enjoy pre-concert hors d'oeuvres provided by Oceanaire, with wine courtesy of Barefoot Wines. After the concert, the Crescendo group plus musicians from the Orchestra will head to Oceanaire for a complementary champagne toast.

The event is open to members and non-members alike – BUY NOW for best seats! Crescendo Project attendees are encouraged to select seats on the main floor, right side. Order Your Tickets Now for Best Availability!
