It's Spring, and romance is in the air at the Minnesota Orchestra. Join the young patrons of the Crescendo Project in celebrating as the Orchestra plays selections from three works inspired by timeless love stories: Romeo and Juliet, Tristan and Isolde, and Daphnis and Chloe. At the heart of the program, violin virtuoso Leila Josefowicz dazzles in Max Bruch's beautiful First Violin Concerto:
| PROKOFIEV | Romeo and Juliet (selections) |
| BRUCH | Violin Concerto No. 1 |
| WAGNER | Prelude and Liebestod from Tristan and Isolde |
| RAVEL | Daphnis and Chloe, Suite No. 2 |
The evening kicks off at 6:30PM with a pre-concert reception featuring light hors d'oeuvres by Tastebud Tart on the Orchestra Hall Tier Drop. The concert starts at 8PM and Crescendo Project attendees will enjoy seats together on the main floor. Following the performance, meet and mingle with Orchestra musicians at nearby Porter & Frye.
