12th Annual Choral Arts Finale Gala Concert

Now in its 12th year, this is an annual high school choral festival co-sponsored by Concordia University, St. Paul and the American Choral Directors Association of Minnesota.

Seven choirs will each present a 10 minute program, concluding the evening with the 400 voices singing in two massed choir pieces led by nationally renowned guest conductor Francisco Nunez, founder and conductor of Young People's Chorus of New York City.

The choirs participating are:

  • Concordia University, St. Paul
  • St. Paul Christus Chorus (David Mennicke, Conductor and Festival Coordinator)

And Six Minnesota high school choirs chosen by state-wide competitive audition:

  • Albert Lea High School Concert Choir, Diane Heaney, conductor
  • Brainerd Senior High School Concert Choir, Brian Stubbs, conductor
  • Champlin Park High School Concert Choir, Laura Tempel, conductor
  • Hastings High School Select Chorale, Lin Warren, conductor
  • Roseville Area High School The Good 'Pellas chamber choir, Kellen McMillen, conductor
  • Wayzata High School Concert Choir, Rebecca Wyffels and Jeff Dahl, conductors

This performance is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes with no intermission.

Prices listed include a non-discountable $2.50 facility fee. There are no service charges for in-person transactions at the Orchestra Hall Box Office or Minnesota Orchestra Administrative Offices.
