Mozart and Beethoven

About this Concert:

The Orchestra introduces two rising stars on this program: Seattle-native Simone Porter, described by the Los Angeles Times as “on the cusp of a major career,” makes her Minnesota Orchestra debut playing Mendelssohn’s lyrical Violin Concerto. Conductor Perry So, who launched his career as a Dudamel Conducting Fellow with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, leads Mozart’s exquisite Symphony No. 36 and Beethoven’s energetic Second.
