Grammy-winning American conductor and composer Eric Whitacre may be most famous for his cutting-edge virtual choir projects (for a preview of his Lux Aurumque, watch the virtual version on YouTube), but he’s also devoted to collaborating with Twin Cities artists. A rock star of the global choral scene, Whitacre returns to lead an evening of otherworldly harmonizing mixed with contemporary orchestral works, ranging from Copland’s 1941 Quiet City to a brand new, still-in-progress work by the conductor himself.
