Now We Start the Great Round

STRAVINSKY
Symphony of Psalms

ORFF
Carmina burana

Let Us Start the Great Round was first performed in June 2012, as Orchestra Hall was about to close for renovations. We now offer a special new version of that beautiful work, recast by composer Steve Heitzeg to be even more forward-looking than at its premiere. After intermission, revel in the glorious celebration that defines Carmina burana, as we close our first season of subscription concerts in our beautiful musical home.
