St. Thomas Christmas Concert

The University of St. Thomas is pleased to present its 30th annual Christmas concert, "So Bright the Star," at Orchestra Hall on Sunday, Dec. 3, at 4 and 7:30 p.m.

The performance, with a program of choral and instrumental music for Christmas, features over 350 student performers across nine of the university’s ensembles. Performing in the concert will be the Chamber Singers, Concert Choir, Donne Unite, Festival Choir, Liturgical Choir, String Orchestra, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Brass Ensemble and Guitar Ensemble.

Proceeds support St. Thomas Music ensembles' international performance tours.

This performance will be recorded. Twin Cities Public Television will produce "A St. Thomas Christmas," a one-hour holiday special, for national broadcast this December. Audio recordings will be available on CD for $15.

The concert is 90 minutes long and there is not an intermission.

Please note: The Minnesota Orchestra does not perform at this program. All artists, programs, prices, dates and times subject to change. All sales are final; no refunds. Prices listed include a non-discountable $2.50 facility fee. There are no service charges for in-person transactions. There is a $5.00 service charge per transaction for all phone and online orders. Due to standard concert protocol, children 6 and under will not be allowed into the performance hall. Tickets are required for admittance.
