Ticket Exchanges, Banking & Turnbacks

Change your ticket online. Use our convenient online form to make changes to your current ticket(s).

If you are unable to use your tickets, you may exchange them for another concert or bank them for a future event up to one hour prior to the performance. Past performances, complimentary tickets, group purchases of 10 or more tickets and events not presented by the Minnesota Orchestra are restricted from exchanges. Single Ticket Buyers are subject to a $4.75 per-ticket exchange fee. There are no exchange fees for Subscribers with the exception of a $4.75 per-transaction fee applied to exchanges beginning seven days prior to the performance, as well as for exchanges into summer concerts prior to the last day of the regular concert season. Any remaining balance left over from a ticket exchange will be held for you as an exchange credit that you may use for future purchases during the season.

If you don't know which concert you'd like to exchange into, you can bank your tickets. Banked tickets must be redeemed by the end of the next month following the original concert date (i.e. original concert date of Apr. 15, 2010 released and banked, banked ticket expires May 31, 2010).

You may also choose to turn back your tickets for a tax-deductible contribution up to concert start time at no additional charge. Past performances, complimentary tickets and events not presented by the Minnesota Orchestra are restricted from turnbacks and/or tax credit.

Accessibility

The Minnesota Orchestra strives to make its performances and venue accessible to all patrons. When ordering tickets, please let us know if you have special needs or require accessible seating, and we will be happy to accommodate. More information on our accessibility services.

Children and Students

All concerts are open to children ages 6 and over when accompanied by an adult. Children of all ages are encouraged to join us for our Target Free Family Concerts, Young People’s Concerts, WAMSO Kinder Konzerts and other youth programs. With the purchase of any regular subscription package, you can add a Young Listener Package for $12 per concert. This is a perfect way to introduce your Young Listener (age 6-17) to thrilling music at Orchestra Hall. Select "Family" in the concert calendar for a complete list of family concerts.

All children, regardless of age, must have a ticket adjacent to an adult to enter the hall. Your child is free to sit on your lap as long as his/her head can fit underneath your chin. Taller children seated on a parent’s lap can block the view of other patrons seated in rows behind.

More information on our student, education and school programs.

Cancellations/Inclement Weather

Program changes may occur due to an artist replacement or cancellation or music selection change. It is very rare for a concert to be cancelled entirely. If a concert cancellation occurs due to weather or other conditions, announcements will be made on WCCO Radio 830AM, Minnesota Public Radio 99.5 FM and other local radio and television stations.

Should a concert cancellation occur, please hold on to your tickets, and we will contact you with options. We also encourage you to sign up for E-Alerts or contact Ticket Services. The Minnesota Orchestra values your support and privacy. We will never sell or trade your email address.

Lost Tickets

Lost tickets can be replaced by Ticket Services and mailed to you unless the concert is within 10 business days. If this occurs, your new tickets will be available in the Box Office. Please note, a reprinted ticket will render the lost ticket invalid.
