Do groups receive a discount?
Groups of 10 or more people receive up to a 20% discount off of
the regular single ticket prices on most Minnesota Orchestra concerts
and presentations. See our
pricing
grid for applicable concerts and prices.
Do larger groups get complimentary tickets?
You will receive 1 free ticket for every 25 tickets purchased.
Do you require a deposit?
No. However, payment is due six weeks prior to the concert selected.
If you are unsure of your numbers at that point, you can continue
to adjust your order with us after paying for the minimum number
of tickets required to constitute a group order, which is 10 tickets.
When can we order?
Anytime! We can take an advanced order even before the concert
season is advertised. Simply call us for the information and we'll
be happy to help. But remember – the earlier you order, the better
assurance you'll have for great seats.
When will we know our exact seating location?
We seat our regular season orders (September-May) in late summer,
and our summer season orders in March, but you can place your
order with us anytime. After the seating process, you will receive
a highlighted seating chart in the mail along with your group
ticket confirmation. If you order during the season, we can let
you know what seats are available right over the phone when you
call.
Do you charge us any additional fees?
In the group sales office, we waive the $4.75 service fee normally
applied to single ticket orders.
When do we get our tickets?
After your final payment is accepted for your order with a check
or major credit card, your tickets will be mailed to you. If you
prefer to pick them up in the box office the night of the performance,
you can do so, but we limit this service to groups of 20 or less.
Can we all sit in the same section of the Hall?
We will try our best to accommodate your seating requests, but
sometimes it is difficult to seat everyone together, especially
for larger groups. The key to getting the seats you want is to
order early.
What activities are there before the morning Coffee Concerts?
Coffee Concerts always include complimentary donuts and coffee
prior to the performance. Most often there is some type of pre-concert
discussion as well as a fashion show or other pre-show event.
For a complete listing of pre-concert activities please call the
Group Sales Office.
Where can our group go to eat before or after the concert?
Orchestr Hall is located in downtown Minneapolis near many
fine restaurants. We also have concerts in St.
Paul at the Ordway Center, which is also located near fine restaurants.
We have great relationships with many restaurants near Orchestra
Hall and we would be glad to place a reservation for your group.
