Q. Once I have placed an order for a Student eSaver ticket, when/how will I receive my tickets? Can I pick up my concert ticket(s)?
A. You will not receive an actual ticket until you arrive at the Box Office. Instead, you will receive a confirmation number via email. You can pick up your Student eSaver ticket two hours prior to the performance. Bring your order confirmation number, along with student identification for each ticket purchased (required). Should you lose your confirmation number; a ticketing representative can access your account when you provide proof of address, phone or email.
Q. Does the Student Saver Card program still exist?
A. No. The Student Saver program has been replaced with the Student eSaver offer. This new online only student discount program allows students to purchase tickets in advance at a discount.
Q. Can I pay with a check or gift card?
A. No. The Student eSaver discount is an online offer only; therefore you are required to use a credit card for purchase.
Q. Can I select my seat location? Can I sit with friends?
A. Student eSaver tickets work exactly like our Student Rush tickets. All tickets are subject to availability and best available seats are assigned based on remaining inventory. Specific seating locations cannot be requested. If you are coming in a group, we recommend the following: place your order together online as one order. When possible, we seat online orders together per order. Groups of 10 or more students can order tickets and be assigned specific seat locations at anytime. Contact our Group Sales Department at groupsales@mnorch.org or by phone at 612-371-5662 to place a student group order.
Q. Can I purchase Student eSaver tickets for any performance?
A. Student eSaver tickets can be redeemed for most Classical and Inside the Classics concerts, and select holiday, Pops and summer concerts. Click here for a list of current concerts available. Sold-out performances or those with limited seating may not be eligible.
Q. Can I use my Student eSaver tickets to take a non-student to the concert?
A. Every person using a ticket reserved with a Student eSaver ticket must present a valid high school or college student ID at the Box Office when picking up their tickets. If your guest is not a student, we recommend that they take advantage of the Public Rush program which begins one hour prior to the concert (if available).
Q. How close to concert time can I order Student eSaver tickets?
A. Orders will be accepted until 3PM day of concert pending availability. Reservations for 11AM concerts will be accepted through end of business hours the day prior. Remember: Student Rush tickets are also available one hour prior to the concert (if available) at Box Office for $15 per ticket ($25 for Public Rush).
Q. I bought my Student eSaver ticket online and missed the concert. Can I use it for a concert in the future?
A. No. All Student eSaver tickets purchased online are considered a final sale. We do not offer refunds or exchanges on Student eSaver tickets. There are no exceptions. So, if you find you cannot attend a concert, make sure to pass along your ticket to a friend.
Q. I don't have a Student eSaver ticket yet and I want to attend a concert tonight at 8PM. Can I still purchase a Student eSaver ticket the day of concert?
A. You may purchase a Student eSaver ticket online until 3PM on our Web site. After 3PM, you must wait until one hour prior to the performance to purchase a Student Rush ticket for $15 (if available) (Valid Student ID is required).
Q. Can I place an order for Student eSaver tickets via phone?
A. Sorry, this discounted ticket is an online offer only.
